Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust. Blog-start to blog-end. The fearsome future to which I alluded has symptoms all around. Ask Johnny Long, who has used Google to test the penetration of computer networks as a "white hat" hacker (c'est bonnet blanc et blanc bonnet). Not just for tracking down that old girlfriend that fricasseed your heart those foolish years ago, we can use the robots and crawlers and spiders (oh, my!) of Google to find cracks in the webfront facades. Scary: an acquaintance went from having two hits on Google for his last name ten years ago to 95,000 today.
