Day 34

12/10/2005
Everybody wants to go to heaven, nobody wants to die.
--Don Nix
(Paraphrase: everyone wants to live on the edge, no one wants to fall off)

You put up a front, then slip out the back.
--John LaChiusa, "Way Back to Paradise" from Marie Christine
(Paraphrase: put up that blog fasçade on the edge, then sit back safely in the middle)

Edgy. The straw that stirs the drink of having people pay you attention. The flaws in furry pink will play your invention and care not the focus lure, for all is all on the hook which feeds the need. Edge may be prickly projection, perilous location or aimless invection. Fix your eye on a spot on the wall and place another Jenga piece on top of your Tower of Thought. You are jumping off the see-saw of society without warning, facing death of yesterday without mourning. I plan to spin in vortex rim but find the tug toward bathtub plug.
