"The first meeting of the 3M-TLC to discuss the role
of the blog phenomenon in the planned design and development
of the World-Wide-HID was held in 2001 on a yacht off of Miami.
Money controlled by the group would be
diverted to assist the fledgling MySpace, FaceBook and Technorati, supporting
and nurturing proliferation of blogs and profiles. This was an
opportunity to have a new generation of proles self-generate publicly-accessible
personal information for absorption into the new HID. The Great
Society Divide and the ascension of the Judicial Branch
came as a severe obstacle to the realization of their plans"
